Installation Information


 This section contains changes relevant to the installation of the
 product, or to its Program Directory.

 1. 07/04/25 Manual Build Message after PTF UK06047

             PTF UK06047 moved CCNEDFLT MODULE from a "full part
             replacement" VMSES build list to a VMSES build list
             where the MODULE would be built from its constituent
             parts. However, when the PTF packages for both UK06047
             and PTF UK20804 were built, the full part replacement
             MODULE for CCNEDFLT was included in the PTF packages.
             This results in VMFBLD issuing the message

             VMF1853W Serviced part CCNEDFLT MODULE was not found
                      in any build list. A MANUAL build requirement
                       will be created.

             Also, in the $VMFBLD $MSGLOG file on the 5654A22A
             A-disk, you will see the following messages:

             BD:VMFBLD2180I There are 1 build requirements remaining
             BD:VMFBLD2180I Build Requirements:
             BD:            Bldlist Object  Status
             BD:VMFBLD2180I UNKNOWN BLDLIST MANUAL    Partid

             ST:VMFBLD2760I VMFBLD processing completed successfully

             Although this may sound like a bad thing, it really is
             not. The PTF has been applied correctly and the VMFBLD
             step has built the parts correctly. The only glitch is
             this one manual build flagged part. The best thing to
             do now is to run the command VMFUPDAT to delete the
             manual build entries in the SRVBLDS file. This will
             ensure that the VMFBLD1853W message does not reappear.

             This manual build requirement can be removed by using
             the VMSES VMFUPDAT command. The VMFUPDAT command is
             documented in the VMSES/E Introduction and Reference.
             To use the command in this instance, perform the
             following steps:

             1. LOGON 5654A22A
             2. Issue the command,  VMFSETUP 5654A22A CCXX
             3. Issue the command, VMFUPDAT
             4. If "PF6=VMFSUFBT" appears on the bottom line of the
                panel, press PF6, then press PF5 to process. When
                the CMS Ready prompt appears, reissue the command,
                VMFUPDAT
             5. Type the letter "S" in the "AC" field of the SRVBLDS
                line
             6. Type "CCXX" in the "Component Name" field of the
                SRVBLDS line
             7. Press PF5 to process

             The above steps will remove the manual build reference
             for CCNEDFLT MODULE. The VMFBLD1853W message will not
             appear when applying any subsequent PTF which affects
             this part.
