Abstract

FileNet P8 Information Center topics that have a step to start the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine tool do not specify the URL for starting the tool in a high availability environment.

Content

If you deployed Content Platform Engine in a high availability environment, then you must use the high availability URL when starting Administration Console for Content Platform Engine to do administrative tasks, such as creating a FileNet P8 domain.

To start Administration Console for Content Platform Engine in a high availability environment, the URL has this form:

http://virtual_server:port/acce

virtual_server is the name of the load balancer or proxy server where the clusters of Content Platform Engine are deployed.
port is the port number of the load balancer or proxy server.

A fix for this issue was applied to the IBM FileNet P8 Platform documentation (http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/).
