Abstract

This fix pack includes all fixes completed since the release of version 2.1.2

Download Description

This fix pack includes all fixes of fix pack 4 and the following additional fixes:

- IV88691: Remove phantom 'scripts' session groups
- IV88942: Fix the log reader's (RpLogRd) default values
- IV91345: Fix deletion of Alert Escalation Alerts
- IV91807: Critical errors in RpServer are not reported to RpClient and go undetected

Installation Instructions

Installation of the fixpack 5 of Tivoli System Automation for Integrated Operations
Management 2.1.2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SA IOM Version 2.1.2.5 is subject to the terms detailed in the license
agreement accompanying it. See the files in the SA IOM ..\License
directory for additional information.

Unzip the file 2.1.2-TIV-SAIOM-FP0005.zip into a local directory.
This will result in the creation of a new subdirectory '2.1.2-TIV-SAIOM-FP0005 with the
following four files:

- setup.msi
- ClientOnly.msi
- README.TXT
- MIGRATION.TXT

To install the fixpack for the full SA IOM product launch 'setup.msi'
To install the fixpack for the ClientOnly feature launch 'ClientOnly.msi'

After the update of the product please follow the reboot advice.

This installer will also install the files for the environment VS2008 which
is used by the new SA IOM version. Do not remove these files.
