Abstract

This document describes how to download the installation images for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail Version 7.1.2 using the Passport Advantage® Online website.

Download Description

Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) for Mail 7.1.2 contains the following components:

  • Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server 7.1.2
  • Data Protection for IBM Domino 7.1.0


Customers who already use the Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server component at a 7.1.0.x or 7.1.1.x level can download 7.1.2 from either of the following sources:
  • the FTP website used to deliver maintenance packages
  • the Passport Advantage Online website

Customers who do not already have either component of Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail 7.1.0.x or 7.1.1.x should obtain a base image, with license enablement file, from the the Passport Advantage Online website.


Maintenance Packages via the FTP Website for Maintenance
(Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server)

All Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server maintenance packages can be accessed using the FTP website for maintenance deliveries.

However, these maintenance update packages require an existing 7.1.x installation on the machine before applying them because the maintenance update packages do not contain the license enablement files required for use of the component. If this is your initial installation of Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server on a machine, you should obtain your packages, with the associated license enablement file, from the Passport Advantage Online website.

It makes all of the component and platform images associated with Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail 7.1.2 available for download.
