Abstract

This Fix Pack will upgrade your SPSS Analytic Server 1.0.1 installation to SPSS Analytic Server 1.0.1 Fix Pack 1 (1.0.1.1)

Download Description

This Fix Pack provides important product corrections for SPSS Analytic Server 1.0.1

Note that if you have IBM SPSS Modeler installed, you must update to its 16.0 Fix Pack 1 version or it will not work with Analytic Server 1.0.1 Fix Pack 1.

Installation Instructions

Prior to Installation
· IBM SPSS Analytic Server 1.0.1 must be shut down using the "./stop.sh" command in the <AnalyticServer_Install_Location>/bin directory.

Installing
· The Fix Pack installer requires Java 1.6 or greater and does not come bundled with jvm.
If you do not have a Java 1.6 in your PATH environment then follow the steps below which will use the Java embedded with Analytic Server 1.0.1.
export PATH=<AnalyticServer_Install_Location>/jre/bin:$PATH
If you took the default installation then this is the full command:
export PATH=/opt/IBM/SPSS/<AnalyticServer_Install_Location>/jre/bin:$PATH

· Launch the Fix Pack installer by running "./1.0.1.0-IM-ANLSVR-Linux8664-FP001.bin"
The installer will prompt you for the root of the Analytic Server installation. For example, the default location is /opt/IBM/SPSS/AnalyticServer/1.0.1
· If the Fix Pack install completes successfully, a corresponding message will be displayed.
· Start the IBM SPSS Analytic Server using the "./start.sh" command in the <AnalyticServer_Install_Location >/bin directory.
