Installation Instructions

To install CICS TG Desktop Edition V9.1

  1. Ensure that sufficient free storage is available (see Table 1 for storage requirements).
  2. Create a temporary directory on your system.
  3. Download part number nnnnnnn to the temporary directory where nnnnnnn is the part number listed in Table 1.
  4. For Windows, unzip the download. For all other platforms, unpack the file with the following command:
    gzip -cd nnnnnnn.tar.gz | tar -xvf -
  5. Open the readme file and follow the installation instructions.
