PI12674 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION: 
Inbound SIP packets with invalid routing information should be sprayed to back-end SIP Containers rather than dropped. 

LOCAL FIX:

PROBLEM SUMMARY

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server using the WebSphere Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Proxy.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Inbound SIP packets that contain invalid routing information are being dropped rather than sprayed to back-end SIP Containers. If the user sees CWSPX0005W warning messages in the SystemOut log file, then the packets are being dropped.

RECOMMENDATION:
None

PROBLEM CONCLUSION: 
We updated the code to allow packets with invalid routing information to be sprayed to back-end SIP Containers. 

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.3. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
