IBM Worklight Foundation is the new name of the product known before as IBM Worklight (6.1 or earlier versions)
IBM Worklight Foundation V6.2, which now includes the Mobile Application Platform Pattern, delivers mobile-optimized, standards-based middleware, and tools for enterprise-grade mobile applications and services creation.
IBM Worklight Foundation V6.2 goes beyond accelerating native, web, and hybrid mobile user interface development and enables you to complete the following tasks:
- Accelerate native, web, and hybrid mobile development

Installation Instructions
Prerequisites
To access the IBM Passport Advantage Online web site, you must have an IBM ID that is associated with the site number that was assigned to your company when you ordered the product. For more information about using Passport Advantage Online, see the IBM Passport Advantage Online web site.
Download
- In your browser, navigate to the Find Downloads and Media page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online web site.
- Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
- Search for each downloadable image by part number.
- Download all of the required parts.
Install
- Use a file extracting utility that supports large file extractions to unpack each of the parts into a single, temporary directory on your system.
- Open the Quick Start Guide.
- Use the Quick Start Guide to access the documentation to help with the product installation.
