How to change the installation directory for ClearQuest if a Rational product is already installed

Problem

This technote explains how to change the installation directory for IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® when a Rational product is already installed.

Symptom

User had ClearQuest and ClearCase 2003 installed on drive "C:" and reinstalled ClearCase on drive "E:", but ClearQuest will not allow it to be installed on drive "E:" It will only allow the product to be installed on drive "C:"
