PK79566 resolves the following problem:
ERROR DESCRIPTION:
A 480 "Temporarily Unavailable" response is not sent upstream by the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Container. The scenario is as follows:
UAC is calling a UAS through the SIP Proxy application. The SIP Proxy forwards the initial INVITE to the UAS. The UAS responds with a 100 Trying response, followed by a 180 Ringing response. Finally, the UAS rejects the call with a 480 response, The SIP proxy does not send this response to the UAC. The log file shows the following:

PROBLEM SUMMARY
USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The problem is that a 480 "Temporarily Unavailable" response is not sent when expected.
RECOMMENDATION:
None
ProxyTo scenario does not send a 480 Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) error response.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
A specific SIP object was invalidated prematurely. This issue was fixed and now the SIP container is postponing it to a later phase.
