Download Description

IBM Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.4 includes fixes for the following Rose components:

  • Core Rose
  • Rose Data Modeler
  • Rose Web Publisher

Note: Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.4 also includes fixes and enhancements from the following releases. Please review the associated Release Notes for a list of these fixes and enhancements.

  • Rose Professional Data Modeler v7.0.0.1
  • Rose Professional Data Modeler v7.0.0.1 iFix001 - iFix004

This Fix Pack may be installed in Rose Professional Data Modeler v7.0.0.0, v7.0.0.1 or in the v7.0.0.1 iFixes. Refer to the Installation Instructions, below.

The Rose 7.0.0.4 Release Notes (download below) includes information describing any known issues and the fixes included

Prerequisites

Verify that Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler v7.0.0.0, v7.0.0.1 or v7.0.01 iFix001 - iFix004 is installed. You can do this by going to Start > Programs > Rational Software > Rational Software Installed Product Information.

Installation Instructions


To download and install Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.4, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler Fix Pack 7.0.0.4 to your computer. (Note: This .zip file includes both the English and Japanese .msp Fix Packs.)


  2. Extract the 7.0.0.4-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-all-FP04.zip file.


  3. Double-click on one of the following .msp files to start installation:

    • English Install: 7.0.0.4-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-en-US-FP04.msp

    • Japanese Install: 7.0.0.4-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-ja-JP-FP04.msp

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Fix Pack.

To install in v7.0.0.0 Release Area:

Install each .msp file in the v7.0.0.0 Release Area:
msiexec /p <name of the msp> /a <msi file in the release area>
