In recent SPs getlvodm -F stopped reporting disks that do not have a pvid attribute. If there are no free disks with pvids assigned, then getlvodm -F will return this error: 0516-313: No configured physical volumes are free.

A recent change to the scsidisk driver added error logging of the errors detected in the disk strategy function. These errors have always been detected and errors returned to the caller but previously they weren't being logged. However, Oracle is frequently (several per second in this case) calling the disk strategy function with a blkno that is one greater than the maximum LBA supported by the LUN. With this change we are now seeing hundreds of these strategy errors being logged, filling the error log.
