6.1.1.6: WebSphere Application Server Toolkit Version 6.1.1 Fix Pack 6

Download

Abstract

The IBM® WebSphere® Application Server Toolkit V6.1.1.6 cumulative Fix Pack contains fixes to V6.1.1.

Download Description

IBM WebSphere Application Server Toolkit V6.1.1.6 addresses the following APARs:

  • Web service deployment tools
    • (PK55469) If a webservice is generated top-down using JMS bindings then the resulting WSDL file has a HTTP binding if a custom namespace mapping is used. If there are no custom namespace mappings then the JMS binding is generated as expected.

    • (PK58682) Bottom-up JAX-WS webservice creation does not work if the implementation bean is in a Java™ utility project.

    • (PK58877) Publishing of a JAX-WS application fails if the module contains a binary archive containing an annotated webservice.

    • (PK60249) The import Policy Set logic fails with a NullPointerException and the resulting policy set is not imported into the workspace.

    • (PK58273) Web Service Deployment takes a long time to complete.

  • Enterprise JavaBeans deployment and mapping tools
    • (PK44913) Using the action 'Restore Default Value' causes the field that is selected to become unmapped.

    • (PK53975) The SQLj Iterator code that is generated for each function set does not always have the correct number of arguments.

    • (PK53832) The SQL generated in the function set for the partial update is missing the WHERE clause for optimistic updates.

    • (PK56257) When creating EJBs using the Bottom-Up method against a DB2® V9 z/OS® database a NULL_1 backend folder is created.

    • (PK56917) EJB Deploy code generation tool fails when generating code against a 1.1 EJB and the Schema backend folder contains any directories.

    • (PK57947) It is not possible to pass system properties to the RMIC call that is invoked as part of EJBDeploy.

    • (PK58700) The SQL generated by EJB Deploy when targeting a WebSphere Application Server V5.1 or V6.0 runtime may not be correct if an Oracle V8 backend is being used.

    • (PK58731) EJB Deploy will only generate unqualified SQL if the schema name is NULLID.

    • (PK60365) If an error occurs when migrating a CMP backend from a previous version of the product to the current version then migration will halt.

    • (PK60588) If an EJB field is mapped to a database column named BLOB then ejbdeploy will fail.

    • (PK60611) An ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException may occur at runtime with scenarios involving relationships between many beans with complex primary keys.

    • (PK60800) The generationFolder attribute value of the .websphereDeploy file is not migrated correctly from Rational® Application Developer V6.0 to V7.0.
  • Server Tooling
    • (PK55694) The error 'Could not set up program arguments' is displayed when attempting to profile an Application Client.

    • (PK58455) JAR files that reside in projects other than the EAR project are not properly added to the looseconfig.xmi file.

    • (PK58932) Exporting a CAR file to the selected V6 WebSphere Application Server fails with an OpenFailureException.

    • (PK59261) Launching a WebSphere Administrative Script causes the launch configuration file to be checked out.
  • J2EE Ant Tasks
    • (PK59486) The Ant tasks for working with the Eclipse preferences do not function correctly.
  • zOS Profile Management
    • (PK57907) The generated BBO*CZFS jobs, which create the zFS configuration file system, fail if the file system data set name has a "$" character in it.
