This document provides the download URL to Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.1, which is Fix Pack 1 for v7.0.

IBM Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.1 includes fixes for the following Rational Rose components:

  • Core Rose
  • Data Modeler
  • Model Integrator
  • Web Publisher

This Fix Pack must be installed in Rose Data Modeler 7.0.0.0. Refer to the Installation Instructions, below.

The Rose 7.0.0.1 Release Notes (download below) include information describing any known issues and the fixes included.

Prerequisites

Verify that Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.0 is installed. You can do this by going to Start > Programs > Rational Software > Rational Software Installed Product Information.

Installation Instructions


To download and install the Rational Rose Professional Data Modeler 7.0.0.1, follow these steps:

  1. Download Rational Rose Modeler Fix Pack 7.0.0.1 to your computer. (Note: This .zip file includes both the English and Japanese .msp Fix Packs.)


  2. Extract the 7.0.0.1-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-all-FP01.zip file.


  3. Double-click on the applicable .msp file to start installation:
    • English Install: English Install: 7.0.0.1-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-en-US-FP01.msp

    • Japanese Install: 7.0.0.1-RATL-RRMPRO-WIN-ja-JP-FP01.msp

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Fix Pack.



To install in v7.0.0.0 Release Area:

Install each .msp file in the v7.0.0.0 Release Area:
msiexec /p <name of the msp> /a <msi file in the release area>
