PK17894 resolves the following problem:

ERROR DESCRIPTION
The Web Services Engine adds a _value tag to SOAP messages. No exceptions should appear (unless inter-operating with a non-WebSphere Application Server version 6.0 machine).

None.

PROBLEM SUMMARY

RECOMMENDATION
None.

The Web Services Engine adds a _value tag to SOAP messages. No exceptions should appear (unless inter-operating with a non-WebSphere Application Server version 6.0 machine).

PROBLEM CONCLUSION
Removed occurrence of _value in message.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.0.2.9.

Prerequisites

For 6.0.2.5, PK16954 and PK15625 is required to be installed first.
For 6.0.2.7, PK16954 and PK1562 are already a part of the fixpack.
