Enables users to implement the functionality of the WebSphere Message Broker HTTP listener in an external Servlet Container
This SupportPac enables WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) users to implement the functionality of the WMB broker HTTP listener in an external Servlet Container (for example, WAS or TOMCAT).
If the Servlet Container supports HTTPS then the WMB V6 or WMB V6.1 broker will be able to receive HTTP requests over HTTPS(SSL).
Note: The new SOAP nodes in WMB V6.1 are not supported by this SupportPac.
This SupportPac has the following use:
To implement multiple HTTP (or HTTPS) listeners associated to one broker for the HTTP nodes, removing a possible single point of failure and to enable large numbers of concurrent HTTP connections.
Skill Level Required
User of this SupportPac should have a good understanding of WMB V6 or WMB V6.1, HTTP nodes, Web Services and installation/configuration of Java Servlets on a Web Container.
