  • 1. Incorrect output when unloading a UNICODE table.

    2. Different results during BMC to HPU conversion.
       PB 7809
    3. Launching HPU from panel ADB21S in Admin gets an INVALID
       MATCH message from panel INZA61.

    4. ORDER BY allocates sortwork data sets even when they
       are not used.

    5) ABENDB37 on HPU unload in the SORT step:
       B37-04,IFG0554A,INCJ0301,DB2HPU,T001MG
       on the T001MG file. This problem can occur when
       the compression ratio for a very big tablespace is higher
       than 95% and when the DASD volumes on which the T001MG
       file are placed are limited, either in available space per
       volume or in the number of volsers. PB 4837
       CIRCUMVENTION: Make more space available to the T001MG
       allocation, either by providing additional volsers or by
       freeing space on the volsers already available.
    6) Provide native support of SECLABEL. PB 7103
    7) Wrong LOAD SYSIN when using table name longer than 61 char.
       PB 7836
    8) Potential S0C4 when unloading a
       compressed partitioned tablespace that
       has more than 256 partitions. PB 7803

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

    1. Module UDBCRFELwas changed to initialize with the proper
    characters the output field when a CCSID conversion is invoked.
    2. Modules inzcol, inzctrlp, inznode and inzpyacc were changed
    to process the conversion from numeric or date/time to CHAR the
    same way as conversion to numeric external or date/time
    external in case of Unload Plus syntax.
    3. Module inzacdb2 was changed. Select statements used to read
    the DB2 catalog which used to use LIKE 'name'.
    4. Module UDBSPUTS was changed to use the size of the biggest
    partition instead of the sum of all partitions in the specific
    case described.
    5. Module udbevtts was changed by modifying the estimated
    compression ratio, in order to support tablespaces with a high
    compression ratio.
    6. Not a bug.
    7. Module inzrload was changed to cut correctly the LOAD command
    into serveral lines of 72 characters each.
    8. Module UDBSPUTS was changed to use a buffer large enough to
    store 4096 entries for the address of the compression
    dictionaries.
    

Problem conclusion

  • APPLY the PTF.
