Troubleshooting
Problem
Discovering same data sets using two different data connections results in the earlier data connection getting deleted.
For example: A schema named schema1 is discovered by data connection jdbc1. Later, the user discovers the same schema1 using an different data connection jdbc2. After the second discovery is complete, the user cannot use the jdbc1 data connection.
If the two data connections belong to two different connectors, the whole connector gets deleted.
For example: A schema named schema1 is discovered by the jdbc connector. Later, the user discovers the same schema1 using the odbc connector. After the odbc discovery is complete, the user can no longer use the jdbc connector. Even in the IMAM console, the jdbc connector cannot be used for import.
Symptom
Users will not be able to use the data connection from the earlier discovery request.
If two data connections are from two connectors, the previously used connector won't be usable.
