Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool various problems can arise from
  use of lowercase DB2 object names. No rows returned in panel
  adb21 for instance. Panel adb21 folds input to upper case.

  Panel ADB2P2 "DB2 Admin Defaults" has been enhanced

   to allow users to specify whether or not they want
  input values for object names to be translated to upper
   case names or used as is.
  Panel ADB21 "System Catalog", the primary query
  panel, has been enhanced to conditionally
  translate lower case characters to upper
  case characters, depending on the user setting in panel ADB2P2.
  

Problem conclusion

• The limitation reported in panel ADB21
   has been removed.  This APAR adds lower
  case support to the panels where problems
   has been reported. Fixing all panels is
  beyond the scope of an APAR, but
  IBM intends to add lower case support to
  all relevant panels in a later release of the product.
