PK09344: CONVERSION FROM DATE TO TIMESTAMP DATA TYPE CAN CAUSE LOAD ERRORS

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool an ALC line command is used to
  change from DATE to TIMESTAMP datatype. LOAD utility fails
  with error messages similar to the following:

            INVALID FOR 'C717086.TB79433', ERROR CODE '10'
  .

  .
  and if a SYSDISC is used:
  .
  
  DSNU310I  #DSN7- DSNURWBG - RECORD (2) WILL BE DISCARDED
            DUE TO 'TB79433_COL1' CONVERSION ERROR FOR
            C717086.TB79433
  .

  Similar error reports occur when DB2 Object Compare
  results in conversion from DATE to TIMESTAMP datatype
