Error description

  • DB2 Administration Tool creates an incorrect command to display
tablespace information when:
Option 3 - 'Display tablespace use' is used from
Panel ADB21TAS. Table name appears where tablespace name should
be in both panel adb21tas and in generated DISPLAY command.
.
Using option 3 to execute generated DISPLAY command receives
error message similar to:
  DSNT302I #DSN8- INVALID NAME TB37664

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When Option 3 from ADB21TAS was used    *
*                      Table name appeared where Tablespace    *
*                      name should be in both panel ADB21TAS   *
*                      and in generated DISPLAY command. The   *
*                      execution of the generated display      *
*                      command gave error message DSNT302I.    *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When in PANEL ADB21TAS entering option 3 for the -DIS DB() TS()
gave error of table space not found.
