Problem
Task nodes with Assignee Relationships and a Task Description that contains a bind variable that exists in both the main workflow object (for example, WORKORDER.DESCRIPTION) and a child object (for example, PERSONGROUP.DESCRIPTION) result in assignment descriptions that display the child object's description instead of the workflow object's description.
APAR IJ02952 attempted to address this behavior with a code change in Releases 7.6.1 and 7.6.1.1. However, this change led to the problem described in APAR IJ17226. APAR IJ17226 has been addressed by backing out the unnecessary change made under APAR IJ02952 in Release 7.6.1.2. The problem described by APAR IJ02952 ultimately is not a bug and does not require a code change. To resolve Task Description bind variables on task nodes that use Assignee Relationships with the value from the workflow object, refer to the below-described workflow configuration modification.
