The documentation was written for IBM Spectrum Scale and IBM Spectrum Protect administrators who plan to implement data protection in the AFM environment. This paper is also intended for administrators with an existing AFM environment to help them understand the challenges of this combination of technologies and provide advice about dealing with those challenges. In addition, the paper can help technical sales personnel integrate the technologies into customer business processes.
