Error description

  • You receive a meeting invitation from another user in a
    different time zone.
If the meeting shows up at midnight for you, you propose a new

time for this meeting, but when using the "Check Schedules..."
    functionality,
the cursor is placed one day before. If you fix the meeting's
    date and validate
your selection, back to the "Propose Options" popup,
    date is not
changed, time is changed and time zone is chair's one, so
    finally the meeting's
    schedule is completely messed up.

    Steps To Reproduce:
    Customer's environment:

    7.0.1 HF517 or 655

*I was able to reproduce in 7.0.3 and 7.0.4** make sure you use
    the same time's
    I use below**
( Note: I have this all set up on my test machine if you just
    want to log into
that. If so, just email me and I'll give you the login info)

    Steps to Reproduce:

Chair: Notes 7.x Client and Template in CET time zone

Invitee: Notes 7.x Client and Template in PST time zone

    1. CET timezone Chair sends meeting invitation to PST Invitee at
    8:00AM CET
    time

    2. PST Invitee accepts the invitation.

    3. PST Invitee reopens the invitation, and notices that the time
    zone
information displays 12:00AM. Invitee initiates a new time
    proposal
(Respond -> Propose New Time) for a different meeting date/time.

Invitee's scheduler shows a slot one day before the initial
    schedule.
Invitee selects another free slot, saves and sends the proposal.

    4. When the PST Invitee is back on the Propose Options popup,
    the Start and End
dates are still showing the day after, but the Start and End
    time
have been overtaken from the scheduler for PST time zone, where
    the Start and
End time zone still show CET Chair's
    one

Local fix

  • Do Not use the "Check Schedules" button when proposing a new
    time. Or manually
change the time zone from the propose new time dialog
