LO50596: EDITS TO WORD ATTACHMENTS IN NOTES CLIENT NOT SAVING

Error description

• Configuration:
  Domino 8.0.1
  Standard and Basic client english
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open notesdocument with word attachment
  2. Rght-click on attachment. - select EDIT
  3. modify attachment in Word
  4. save modifications in Word --> a temp file is created in the
  users temp
  directory.  Viewing the temp file you will see that the
  modification has
  correctly been saved
  5. save notes document --> temp file has been deleted
  6. User must click the SAVE smarticon (toolbar icon) or the SAVE
  document
  action.
  7. view word attachment contents --> modification was not
  saved
  
  The attachment.modification is correctly saved multiple times,
  then suddenly it
  stops saving.  The notes client needs to be restarted to get the
  functionality
  working again.
  
  Note: This works fine for some time, but after 10minutes testing
  (sometimes
  more, sometimes less), suddenly the attachement modification
  isn't saved
  anymore.
  Customer doesn't modify anything else between the attachement
  save and  notes
  document save.
  The only action they do sometimes is to view the attachment
  after the
  attachment save and before the notesdocument save.
  After the problem occurs, that notes doesn't save the modified
  attachment, the
  user won't be able to save any attachment modifications anymore
  until he
  restarts the notes client.
  
  Although the issue is reported as intermittent it is easy to
  reproduce between
  opening and viewing and saving the attachment.
