Troubleshooting
Problem
When attempting to open Cognos Configuration, it returns with an error message and fails to open.
Symptom
When trying to open Cognos Configuration the following error message appears:
"IBM Cognos Products: cnfg has stoped working.
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Fault Module Name: MSVCR100.dll"
The user is then prompted to close the program.
Crash dump files are created in the '<cognos-installation-location>\bin64' directory.
