After applying the PTF for this APAR, enable the new function by
updating server.xml to set the useJsonErrorResponses attribute
to true on the zosconnect_zosConnectManager element. For
example:
<zosconnect_zosConnectManager useJsonErrorResponses="true"/>

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • z/OS Connect EE provides an option to always return HTTP error
responses in JSON format. Applying the PTF for this APAR will
change the reported z/OS Connect EE level to V2.0.2.0 as
reported in the Liberty log:
BAQR0000I: z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition version 2.0.2.0
