• HP Load should issue an error message indicating a non-zero
  reason code from the INIT function call of a compression exit
  routine such as IMS DFS0749I:

  This APAR fixes the following problems:
  1. HP Load does not issue an error message when an error was
     detected by a Segment Edit/Compression exit routine.
  
  2. HP Load may issue MSGHPSR3733E in loading DFSRVSP0 when
     all the following conditions are met:
     - Processing a HALDB with PSINDEX or Logical relationships.
     - ILDSBLD=YES,DSPR option is used.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. HP Load has been modified to issue MSGHPSR3865E when an error
     was detected by a Segment Edit/Compression exit routine.
  2. The load process for DFSRVSP0 has been removed because the
     module was needed for the obsolete option ILDSBLD=YES.

        Name of the exit routine.

        The function of the exit routine that caused the error.
      Uaaaa
        The user abend code generated by the exit routine.
      rrrrrrrr
        The unique label at which the error was detected. This
        label corresponds to the error reason code. Find the
        reason code in the user's guide of the Segment
        Edit/Compression exit routine or contact the supplier
        of the Segment Edit/Compression exit routine.
  
    System Action:
      IMS HP Load issues a user 3865 abend and a dump.
  
    User Response:
      Determine the cause of the error and correct the problem.
