Cannot launch Cube Designer after a fresh install - Error : java.lang.IllegalStateException: The platform metadata area could not be written

Troubleshooting


Problem

After a fresh install of IBM Cognos Cube Designer 11.0.X, when you try to open the Cube Designer application, you may hit the following error
