Error description
The session workflow scheduler controls the submission of jobs for each task. The tasks are serialized and the scheduler waits for at least one minute for the task to complete successfully before submitting the next job. The problem arises when the tasks complete quickly, within a few seconds. The schedule is unnecessarily delayed by up to one minute per task. This can result in the workflow taking several minutes longer to complete than is necessary. Summary of changes: The session workflow scheduler wait time is reduced from 1 minute to 5 seconds. The scheduler will detect the completion of short running tasks much sooner. As a consequence the entire workflow will take less time to complete.
