  or EXPLAIN ends with SQLCODE -118 if the query contains FOR
  UPDATE clause.

  An SQL statement incorrectly returns SQLCODE -118 when
  subsystem parameter ACCELMODEL is set to YES. Also, an SQL
  statement with a FOR UPDATE clause may be incorrectly considered
  as eligible for acceleration. This may result in ABEND04E
  RC00E70005 in DSNXEFDA M130 (caller is DSNXOPB).

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code is fixed to no longer consider an SQL statement with
  FOR UPDATE. SQLCODE -118 is no longer issued when subsystem
  parameter ACCELMODEL is set to YES.
