Error description
Problem: Isolating sketch geometry projected from 3D wire-frame is very slow. . Scenario : --------- 1- Open in Catia the .CATpart 2- Create a sketch on YZ plane 3- Use PROJECT 3D ELEMENTS fonction to project all wireframe (132 elements) 4- Use INSERT-OPERATION-3D GEOMETRY-ISOLATE to isolate the sketch geometry. --> Catia takes around 30 seconds to isolate 132 elements. . Expected Behaviour ------------------ We need Catia to isolate groups of 4 000 elements with in a reasonable time (less than a minute)

Problem summary
INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS: Performance problem during an Isolate operation of lots of elements (130) . TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION: Bad management of the modificationof the objects that are already in CSO. . ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS: Problem is corrected : CPU time decreased from 46s to 6s.
Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 10 GA level. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R9SP02. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R8SP07. . Comment: problem is also fixed on V5R9 SP01.
