Problem

When user updates the IBM Rational Software Architect Designer 9.6 or IBM Rational Software Architect Designer for WebSphere Software 9.6 to the latest version 9.6.1 by using Installation Manager update, certain functionalities like Swagger modeling, Deployment modeling, Java modeling etc will be missing in the updated product.

Symptom

Issue can be manifested in many forms as it is one of the core plugin on which many other features depends on it.

Here is a sample scenario to identify this issue:

When user launch updated IBM Rational Software Architect Designer product and try to create a new model project (File-> New -> Model Project), the following high-lighted model template category such as Java Development will be missing:
