HC92967: IN THE CHAMFER DIMENSION THE RIGHT EXTENSION LINE IS VERY SHORT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Scenario :
  1- File / Open the CATDrawing file
  2- Select the chamfer dimension creation icon
  3- Activate the Tools Toolbar
  4- In the Tools Toolbar select :
    - Angle x Length
    - Two Symbols
  5- Select in the order the green, blue and red lines
  Result:
  The chamfer dimension has been created, but the right
  extension line is too short
  If we do MB3 on this chamfer dim. / Properties / Extension
  Line table, we can see that Blanking value is the same for
  the left and right extension line.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Wrong relimitation of extension line of chamfer dimension with
  2 symbols.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level.
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  This problem has been corrected on V5R9 ga.
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  This problem has been corrected on V5R9 ga : the right extension
  line is correct.
