    has been greyed out.

    Scenario:
    1. Tools->Options->General->Macros = no VBA option is there
    2. Tools->Macros = Visual Basic Editor option is greyed out

    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
        CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level AND ON V5R8SP02
    
     REASON:
    It is a regression on V5R8 SP1 / GA and fixed in V5R8 SP2.
    The problem cause is that file CATIAAppTypeLib.tlb is no more
    found by the PATH variable."
    
     BYPASS:
    Add the directory containing CATIAAppTypeLib.tlb in the user
