  Try this scenario....
  .
  1. Open IBM_CATPart (63101829.723A). Use Part Design
  workbench.
  .
  2. Define in Work Object Loft 1.
  .
  3. Use EDGE FILLET and create a radius of 9mm. This works
  OK.
  .
  4. Try anything above 10mm and the system freezes.
  .
  5. This problem is identical if you use LOFT 2.
  .

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Fillet creation was leading to CPU loop
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  Undetected ribbon infinite cycle
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  Problem has been corrected : update diagnosis is displayed
   instead of CPU loop.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R8SP03.
