Comments

  • THIS APAR IS CONSIDERED AS A SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT FOR
    CATIA.
     .
     INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
    After instanciating a Power-copy containing a Threaded
Hole, thread parameters are lost in the new part.
    .
For your information, you have the same problem through
CCP of threaded holes or thread features.
     .
     JUSTIFICATION FOR DEVLOPMENT REQUEST:
    This a known restriction.
Solve it on a service-pack of V5R8 or V5R9 has too much
    cost and risk.
Moreover we need to change the data-structure.
We need to guarantee downward data compatiblity
    between SP and GA.

This restriction will be solved on
the next release which is V5R10.
     .
     ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
Edit the hole after instanciation and re-specify the thread
    parameters.
