Error description

  • Abstract: CATIA aborts trying to load a CATProces file
using VBscript

Scenario:
1. copy provided file SampleProcess.CATProcess to
   C:/SampleProcess.CATProcess
2. start CATIA
3. tools -> macro -> macros...
4. select: macro in external file
5. select provided macro:
   SystemAbortsInVBScriptOpenProcessDocument.CATScript
6. run the macro
7. System aborts immediately or it is frozen

Problem summary


    

  • CATIA loops when running a CATProcess macro.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
  CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level.
NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R8SP04.

The problem is fixed: Events handling has ben modified.
No more crash or abend occurs
