• THIS APAR IS CONSIDERED AS A SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT FOR
  CATIA.
  PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT DEPARTMENT IN ORDER TO OPEN A
  REQUIREMENT FORM.
  
  The thread attributes are lost after copy-paste as result
  into drawing.
  A copy-paste as result just copies the B-Rep(the resulting
  geometry) forgetted all the specifications and
  the composed features.
  
  Thread attributes are one group of these specifications.
  
   JUSTIFICATION FOR DEVLOPMENT REQUEST:
  We have two ways to solve this restriction :
   1) report the threads attribute on the copied solid datum
   2) during the drafting extraction, open the reference parts
  
  and go trough the Multi-Model links to retrieve the Threads
  specification.
  
  Risk of solution 1) is to increase memory consumption.
  Risk of solution 2) is to decrease performances.
  
  These two solutions are under study, we are looking
  for a appropriate algorithm without any too bad
  impact on performances or memory consumption.
  
  These items are in the official Product Highlight Definition
  for Part Design.
  Contact your IBM or DS assignees for more support or
  follow-up process.
  
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  Create the threads and taps specifications with Thread features
  in the last multi-model level (in the last CATPart before
  drafting generation)
