HC85977: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE CENTER LINE WITH AXIS LINE ICON

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Horizontal and vertical center lines cannot be created with the
  Axis Line icon
  Scenario:
  1- Open the CATDrawing file
  2- Create an axis between 2 lines in each view with Axis Line
  icon :
  Insert / Dress Up / Axis and Threads / Axis Line
  We can't do it for the top left area of the front view.
  (we cannot create vertical and horizontal axis in dot-dash)
  The message 'Axis Line Creation Failed' is given.

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Bad argument for the creation of the link to the 3D.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R7SP06 and
  V5R8SP01.
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  This problem has been corrected on V5R7 SP6, V5R8 SP1 and V5R9.
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  This problem has been corrected on V5R7 SP6, V5R8 SP1 and V5R9.
