Error description
CATIA DOES NOT SUPPRESS THE LINK WHEN A PART IN OPENED IN REA D ONLY MODE IS REMOVED FROM THE SESSION ABSTRACT: Catia does not suppress the link when a part in opened in read only mode is removed from the session. This is a catia infrastructure problem: here is a new simple scenario to reproduce the bug : - in CATIA (no login in TeamPDM), create a new part and save it. then change it's properties to put it in Read only mode - create a new product, save it, then insert in this product the part yo u've juste created - then click on this part and suppress it with the contextual menu or wi th the DEL key : the part would have to no longer be in the session - change the properties of the part and uncheck the read only mode. - in the catia session, clic FilegOpen and choose your part - when the part opens, you can see it still has the flag " READ_ONLY " (you can see on the high left corner of the c atia window) this may occur troubles when working on file, most of all in TeamPDM where you deal with different status (read only or not) for the same file
