HC84677: CATSEC DOES NOT WORK WITH THE PRND TYPE OF FLATFILE FOR TEES.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CATSEC does not work with the PRND type of flatfile for tees.
  Calculated weights are based upon the volume of the
  shape. We cannot leave out the fillets or we will not get
  the actual weights. HPs are modeled with fillets with no
  noticeable effect to model size or performance.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  CATSEC does not work for keyword PRND or PTAP (rounded corners,
   or rounded corners and tapered flanges).
  T with tapered flanges can not be created interactively.
  Radii or sloped flanges not visualized on screen.
  T-web side placement does not work with T-webs with rounded
  corners or tapered flanges.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 4 RELEASE 2.4 REFRESH 3 GA level  (FREL424R3)
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  Modification of the algorithm
  The following declarative needs to be setup to visualize
  all the section details :
  CATAEC.SETUP.STR.VISU_RAD=1;
