Error description

  • Scenario:
    1) Create a new Product
    2) Select "Add existing component"
    3) Multi-Select part files to add to the product using the
    CTRL key.
    4) Select READ ONLY box
    5) Select OK
    Results: Parts are NOT added READ ONLY.
    
    OR
    
    1) FILE/OPEN
    2) Multi-Select part files to add to the product using the
    CTRL key.
    3) Select READ ONLY box
    4) Select OK
    Results: Parts are NOT load READ ONLY.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • If files are in read only mode, after multi-selection for open
    properties are lose.
    

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
      CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 9 GA level.
