Problem

InfoSphere DataStage DB2 Connector fails with the error when Bulk loading to z/OS in SFTP mode: DB2_Connector_1: Write failed with error 32: Broken pipe (CC_DB2Utils::writeToPipe, file CC_DB2Utils.cpp, line 1,642) [pxbridge.C:8762]

Symptom

CC_MSG_LEVEL variable outputs detail messages to a job log:
CC_DB2ZLoadRecordDataSetConsumer.cpp:(744) Drain pipe until it reaches sftp. = debug1: read_passphrase: can't open /dev/tty: No such device or address
CC_DB2ZLoadRecordDataSetConsumer.cpp:(744) Drain pipe until it reaches sftp. = Host key verification failed.
CC_DB2ZLoadRecordDataSetConsumer.cpp:(744) Drain pipe until it reaches sftp. = Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer
