Error description

• ABSTRACT: GEN DRAFT - Dimensions not updated when component is
  replaced.
  
  Problem Description:
  PREASSIGNED NUMBER: ALFH-4UFKCB  Needed for Prod Pilot
  Dimensions not updated when component replaced
  
  Scenario:
  1) Open the file
  ALFH-4UFKCB-Dimensions_not_updated_when_component_replaced.CATDr
  2) Select Edit+links and 'Pointed Documents' tab in the
  window
  3) Select 'Open' command: the product is now open
  4) Select the command 'Replace Component' in the Assembly
  Design worbench and select 'Plate1(Plate) in the tree
  5) Select the part 'Plate3': the part is now replaced.
  Notice that Plate3 is thinner and smaller that Plate1.
  6)  Update the assembly and switch to the CATDrawing
  window: Notice that the drawing needs an Update
  7) Update the Drawing
  ==> Look at the dimensions:
  - The dimension 17 did not change: It should be 16 .
  - The 2 dimesions 5 also did not change: They should be
  7.5

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 7 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R6SP3.
  
   INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Dimensions are not updated when a component is replaced by
  another one in the product.
  
   TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  The dimension links are not modified in such a case.
  
   ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  The modification of the dimension links has been delivered for
  the V5R6SP3 version .
