THIS APAR IS CONSIDERED AS A SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT FOR CATIA. NOTE THAT THIS IMPROVEMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN V5R5 SP2. INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS: ================== UNABLE TO READ CATIA VRML DATA ON INTERNET EXPLORER OR NETSC APE. JUSTIFICATION FOR DEVLOPMENT REQUEST: ==================================== When writing the VRML file, position fields and focaldistance of VRML PerspectiveCamera are in millimiters but the VRML standard imposes meters. ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS: =========================== Divide by 1000 (mm>m) position fields and FocalDistance of PerspectiveCamera node. To do so: open vrml file ->perspectiveCamera (open to obtain camera coordinates) ->position: divide the number by 1000 ->FocalDistance: divide the number by 1000.
