HC73030: BALLOONS ARE NOT ASSOCIATIVE AFTER REORDERING.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Scenario :
  1- File + open and select the file Assembly.CATProduct
  2- File + open and select the file ballon.CATDrawing
  3- Double click on the balloon icon.
  4- Select the red line and indicate the position of the balloon
     and press OK.
  5- Select the green line and indicate the position of the
     balloon and press OK.
  6- Select the blue line and indicate the position of the balloon
     and press OK.
  7- The result should be like in following picture:
  8- Switch to the Assembly.CATProduct window.
  9- Select the "Graph tree Reordering" icon.
  10- Select the top level of the specification three.
  11- In the list select the part with name top and press the up
  arrow twice
  12- Press OK.
  13- Select the "Generate Numbering" icon and select the top
  level of the assembly.
  14- Mode should be Integer and existing numbers should be
  replaced.
  15- Press OK.
  16- Press MB3 on the instance named "top (top.1)" and select
     properties option.
  17- Notice that the instance number is now "1" before the
  renumbering it was "3"
  18- Switch to the drawing window.
  19- Notice that the "update" icon is not activated, which it
  should because you have reordered the product.
  20- Press the "Force update" icon.
  Result:
  Nothing happens.
  This is an error, because if you look in online manual it tells
  you following:
  "Note that if you modify the numbering in the product and then
  regenerate the product, the balloon modification will be applied
  to the generated views only after you perform a view update".

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 8 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R7SP2.
  
   INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  A c:force update corrects the problem with the balloons
  but the update icon is still not available.
  so the closure type for this part is SUG.
