•  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  SHAPE DESIGN : A VERTEX CANNOT BE SELECTED TO CREATE A LINE
  
   REASON:
  If you analyze the vertex that is originating the trouble,
  it can be seen that it is related to TRIM.1, which in turn is
  related to SPLIT.9, and finally with COMBINE.1. It is this last
  feature which is at the origin of the trouble.
  If you create a new COMBINE and replace COMBINE.1 with it,
  you'll get an error reporting that there is a problem in
  the SKETCH YZfrontView, and you're invited to edit it in
  order to solve the problem. This is because there is no
  geometry associated to EDGE.1 in PROJECTION.18 (EDGE.1: a
  face, an edge or a vertex are no longer recognized).
  Probably the geometry in the 3D has been deleted, leading
  to this projection problem in the sketch, and preventing
  it to be updatable.
