  Scenario:
  1. Load V5R2 on a system
  2. Load V5R3 on the same system
  3. Uninstall V5R2
  All file associations are lost (.catpart etc) even though
  CATIA is still installed on the system.

• FILE ASSOCIATIONS LOST WITH MULTIPLE INSTALLS on Windows
  
   CORRECT APPLICATION:
  The file association such as .CATPart is done with only one
  level of CATIA V5 . By default the last installation .
  When removing the CATIA installation , th efile association
  is also removed
  To restore the association , launch the command :
  CNEXT /regserver
