HC61996: WHEN A PART IS OPENED, THE SPECIFICATION TREE SHOWS THE ZX PLANE WITH AN EXCLAMATION MARK IN A YELLOW CIRCLE

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• When opening the customer's part, all works OK: the geometry
  is correctly visualized, the specification tree is correctly
  visulized, but the ZX plane in the first lines of the tree
  is drawn with a "black exclamation mark in a yellow circle"
  symbol on the branch.

  Note however that 2 features are told as not found or not
  containing the correct information: PRTSKETCH.feat and
  WF3D.feat, and that user is requested to use Edit.Links to
  correct the situation, but Edit.Links returns that the active
  document does not contain any external links.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The exclamation mark denotes a problem with one of the
  reference planes. A part of the description of this plane is
  incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
                                                                 .
  A mechanism exists as an internal part of the CATIA V5 program,
  as of now. It corrects the part and suppresses the exclamation
  mark.
  However, since it is not delivered out of Dassault, the
  affected parts are to be sent for correction. They will be
  sent back after correction.
